Capt. Dave had another great week of sharking at the 9 Mile Bank. He also ran into a finning marlin (literally!), before he could slow down and toss a bait to the fish. Sharking should continue to be good at least through the end of the month.

Captain Conway called to report continued outstanding shark action. So far this week, they have jumped 32 makos, with 3 estimated at over 200 lbs. They have also baited a swordfish estimated at over 300lbs, a striped marlin, and had a hammerhead in the 12ft range hooked...and the summer is only about half over!

Captain Conway caught 7 makos up to 120 lbs on poppers, sight casting to finners early in the AM. What a rush!

Captain Conway was on TV duty today, filming with Versus TV. He caught 13 makos up to 150 lbs. Fast action all day long...

Captain Dave returned to the scene of yesterday's crime, and got some red-hot albie action at the 182 with Jake Rohe and Carson Plamer (QB for the Cincinati Bengals). 8 albacore before noon, then some mako action in the afternoon. Overall, a pretty good day!
